The Schier Pumpout Port Kit is a versatile accessory for our grease interceptors that converts an unused outlet into a pumpout port.

The kit is designed to allow remote cleaning on a unit installed inside of a building without dragging a dirty vacuum truck hose into that building. When using this feature, a kitchen may remain in operation without the noxious smell of the contents captured in the grease interceptor. This is accomplished by the negative pressure created during the vacuum process that sucks the odor out with the grease waste. These benefits can eliminate the potential contamination of food prep areas without putting business on pause. The Pumpout Port Kit also comes in handy when the interceptor is installed in a hard-to-reach area, including outdoor installations, in which case the pumpout line can be brought to the truck.

Pumper truck connected to external pumpout connectionPumpout Port Kits (PP1 and PP3) come with internal pumpout fitting and piping, and a 3" cam and groove with cap. Most indoor and indoor/outdoor Great Basingrease interceptors are built with a triple outlet for installation flexibility, including the ability to use one outlet for pumpout port connection. The GB-1000 does not have a triple outlet, but offers built-in pumpout port options.
