For the past 11 years, Schier has honored local veterans by opening our doors each Veterans Day to celebrate their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. What began as a small gesture of appreciation has grown into a meaningful tradition. We are proud to continue supporting those who have served and to recognize the lasting impact they have made.
Proud to be Made in America
Celebrating 250 years of freedom
Schier is celebrating America's 250th birthday - a monumental milestone (we even put a patriotic spin on our beloved and long-standing pioneer logo - check it out at the top of our site!).
American made products
Schier manufactures a premier lineup of 100% USA-made, high-capacity and lifetime-guaranteed grease interceptors for commercial kitchens. Every component in Schier's product line is designed and made in the USA, and the finished interceptors are made-to-order at our factory in Shawnee, Kansas. We have a vast network of stocking partners, which allows our products to be available to customers same-day from sea to shining sea.
Locally sourced vendors
Schier values long-term vendor relationships, many of which operate throughout the midwest or even in Kansas City - our own backyard.
Schier's purpose
We make the world better by serving and providing for our employees. Schier is 100% employee-owned, which not only impacts the success of our company but also (and more importantly) invests in each employee’s future — helping all of us pursue the American Dream.
The big picture
We're playing our part in conserving and contributing to America's wastewater infrastructure with the goal of achieving $100 million in U.S. taxpayer savings by reducing FOG (fats, oils and grease) in sewers.
The U.S. sewer system is a marvel, but it is also aging, handling more than it was designed to, and struggling to keep up with population growth. Making sure that our existing sewer infrastructure is taken care of and functioning properly, while adding new infrastructure only when needed, is the most realistic path forward.
